Wow! The school celebrated World Book Day yesterday in fine style as the children came to school in some of the most imaginative and wonderful costumes we've ever seen. From Harry Potter to Alex Rider; Snow White and her seven dwarfs to Alice and the Queen of Hearts; 101 Dalmations and a fair few Wallys too! The list went on and on and on... Parents then joined us to Come & Do Reading before we all assembled to admire each other's efforts in assembly. Captain Underpants you were amazing!! In a time when the world can be a little serious, it was lovely to see so many smiles and hear much laughter all as a result of characters from books; many of which have transcended generations.
